Founding pilot terms

StayRecon is a working brand in an early research stage. The public site accepts enquiries only. An invited property receives the responsible individual's identity, location and applicable data terms before any sample file is transferred.
Scope of the review
The complimentary pilot compares a limited, customer-supplied, redacted sample of OTA commission records with selected property figures. The output identifies items that appear matched, items that need review and potential discrepancies.
No guarantee of recovery
A difference is not necessarily an incorrect charge or an amount owed. Promotions, programme participation, tax treatment, cancellation rules, no-show fees, timing and incomplete records may explain a difference. StayRecon does not guarantee a refund or recovery.
Customer responsibilities
- provide accurate records that the customer is authorised to use;
- do not attach any hotel file to the initial pilot enquiry;
- if invited, provide only the requested redacted sample CSV and confirm that prohibited data has been removed;
- do not provide guest identifiers, original reservation identifiers, free-text guest notes, bank or payment information, passwords or unredacted Booking.com/PMS exports;
- independently confirm findings before taking financial action;
- avoid sharing account passwords or unrestricted account access.
Research-stage service
No payment is collected for the founding pilot. Free participation does not change the confidentiality, data-minimisation or deletion boundaries described in the pilot notice. Received sample files are removed within 14 days after delivery of the review.

StayRecon is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for Booking.com, Little Hotelier or their related companies. All third-party product names belong to their respective owners.
