Privacy notice

Last updated 28 July 2026

StayRecon is a working brand in an early research stage. This public website accepts basic pilot enquiries only. The responsible individual's identity, location and applicable pilot data terms are provided directly to an invited property before any sample file is transferred.

Information submitted through the pilot request

A pilot request may include your work email, property name, approximate room count, main OTA channel and a short description of the issue you would like reviewed. When you press submit, the website saves these enquiry details in hosted database storage so StayRecon can review and respond. You do not need to send a separate email. The initial form does not accept file attachments.

Files used for a commission review

If a property is invited into the pilot, it may be asked for one redacted sample CSV through separate instructions. We do not accept original or unredacted Booking.com or property management system exports at this stage. The sample must exclude guest names, contact details, postal addresses, original reservation identifiers, free-text guest notes, bank or card details, virtual card details and login credentials.

How information is used

  • to assess whether a property fits the pilot;
  • to perform the agreed commission review;
  • to explain findings and answer questions;
  • to meet legal, security and record-keeping obligations.

Retention and deletion

Basic enquiry records are retained only while they are needed to assess the pilot, communicate with the property and maintain reasonable research-stage records. Deletion of an enquiry may be requested by emailing terryintl6@gmail.com, unless retention is legally required.

Received sample files are removed within 14 days after the pilot review is delivered. If a review does not proceed, a received sample is removed within 14 days of receipt. Earlier deletion may be requested by emailing terryintl6@gmail.com, unless retention is legally required.

Important pilot limitation

Do not send operational reports, guest data or file attachments with a pilot enquiry. No file should be transferred until you receive a direct invitation, the responsible individual's identity and location, the applicable pilot data terms and approved transfer instructions.
